From Sales to Broadway Dreams (with a Pit Stop in the Auto Industry!) I've been in the auto industry since 2002, but my journey actually began in the restaurant world. In 2014, I joined Korum Automotive Group-totally unplanned, but it immediately felt like home! What drives me? Watching my team grow and celebrating their wins, both big and small. I'm not one to stay stuck behind a desk. I love connecting with my team, learning their stories, and making sure everyone feels comfortable, even when things get challenging. For me, great leadership is all about listening. Here's the thing-I'm not a car fanatic. Sure, they're cool, but people are my real passion. I love chatting with anyone, anywhere, which my wife finds hilarious, even on vacations! Fun fact: I've been an actor, singer, drummer, and more. Broadway was the dream, but life had other plans. These days, I'm rocking out at home with my wife, our fur babies, and the occasional home project. When it comes to customer service, it's simple: kindness and genuine care. My goal is to reset expectations-if a customer tells us it was their best car-buying experience, I know we've nailed it. Every interaction should feel special.

Meet Andrew Cowan. Andrew has been selling cars for Korum Hyundai for about a year now, and previously worked on detailing vehicles here at Korum. Andrew is a big fan of cars, so much so that he gets together with other car enthusiasts and hits the road. If you are looking for him outside of work, there is a good chance that he'll be driving around in his Black Veloster N, tuning it up, and adding awesome customizations. There are many attributes of selling cars that he enjoys. Getting to share his knowledge on the Hyundai lineup, to seeing his customers faces light up when they find the right car at the right price make his day. Andrew likes the fact that he is able to not just make the sales, but to make long term relationships with the customers. "Follow-up is really important to me. I want to make sure my customers are happy with their car not just a week after it was purchased, but for months and years to follow." Andrew is a compassionate and empathetic person, and will work as hard as he possibly can to get you the car you want within your desired budget. From Air Force Jets to Electric Cars After 20 years in the Air Force and 14 years in physician recruiting, I joined Korum in 2020 during the height of COVID. Starting in Pre-Owned and moving to Hyundai, I've embraced Korum's family atmosphere, where working with friends is part of the job. As a sales advisor specializing in Electric Vehicles, I focus on making the car-buying process easy and enjoyable. Building rapport, keeping it relaxed, and truly listening to my clients' needs sets me apart as a customer advocate. I believe in treating others the way I'd want to be treated-simple as that! Outside of work, I'm a die-hard Seattle sports fan. Whether it's the Seahawks, Mariners, or Kraken, I'm all in. And yes, I'm still holding out hope for the Sonics to return! When I'm not cheering on my teams, I'm detailing my cars or spending time with my wife, our two grown sons, and our pups, Genghis and Atilla. The best part of my job? Seeing the excitement when a customer drives off in their new car-it never gets old!

Say hi to Michael Sheffield. Michael is a Texas boy who ventured to the PNW to marry the woman of his dreams. Since then he has pursued his career in the auto industry. He loves working in this industry and getting to know customers. Everything from how their day is to what they do for a living. "You hear all sorts of careers that you may have not even known existed" says Michael. Michael is driven by making people smile and laugh. If he doesn't manage to accomplish one of those two things, then in his mind, he failed at his Job. Michael may be a little guy, but he's a big deal and has a big heart.
