Safety Features Packed Into the Hyundai Kona

The staff at Korum Hyundai wanted to take a minute and shed a little light on the new Hyundai Kona and its safety features. Here are a couple reasons this small SUV has been growing in popularity this year.

With the Blind Spot Information System, the driver of the Hyundai Kona is now going to know exactly where a vehicle is when it enters the blind spot. If the sensors detect the vehicle on the left blind spot, the left side mirror on the vehicle will flash so you'll know that lane is occupied and to stay in the lane until clear.

The way that the Lane-Keeping System in the Kona works is by monitoring where on the road the vehicle is positioned so that if drifting occurs, the driver will get an alert. As the vehicle leaves the lane lines, the steering wheel vibrates to get the attention of the driver.
